Event Title: Studio Shorts (3 Short Plays)
Where: Mill Theatre Studio
Wednesday, 22 February 2012
Time: 20:10
|
Small Box Psychosis written by Barry McKinley is a funny, irreverent and sharp short play, set in an elevator, and full of great comedy moments, directed by Oran O'Rua.
Bar and Ger by Geraldine Aron is the tender, often funny but simple story of the relationship between a sister and her younger brother Barry. Her escape results indirectly in his demise, and in comparatively few words the author evokes a powerful sense of love and loss. Directed by Gary Wall.
The Philadelphia by David Tristram is a 10 minute snapshot of a man fallen into a Twilight-Zone-like state in which he cannot get anything he asks for . He is in a "Philadelphia"according to his worldly wise buddy AL. His only way out of the dilemma? - to ask for the opposite of what he wants." Directed by Brian
